H.S. Baseball Roundup: South Glens Falls earns walkoff win over Broadalbin-Perth

SOUTH GLENS FALLS - Josh Hay hit a single to left centerfield to score Travis Schrammel in the bottom of the seventh inning, lifting South Glens Falls to a 5-4 win over Broadalbin-Perth in a Foothills Council baseball game Tuesday.

The Bulldogs led 4-1 after one inning before B-P rallied to tie the game, scoring twice in the top of the sixth.

Mitch Fearis was 2-for-3 with a double and two RBIs for South Glens Falls (6-6 overall, 3-3 Foothills), while Robert Olsen and Schrammel each had two hits.

Joe Zarecki was 2-for-3 with two doubles for Broadalbin-Perth (4-4 overall, 3-3 Foothills), which posted a 7-0 win at home over South Glens Falls on Monday.

SHARON SPRINGS - Ryan Hennessy had two singles and five RBIs, leading Mayfield past Sharon Springs.

Bobby Gates had two singles and three RBIs for the Panthers, while Luke VanNostrand had a single, triple and an RBI.

Austin Lair added two singles for Mayfield (3-6 overall, 3-5 WAC), while Alex Colby had a single and two RBIs.

Riley Yager and Jordan VanNostrand each had a single and an RBI for the Panthers, while Alex Charbonneau added a single.

Vernon Kennedy, Nick Roach, Matt Zeh and Tyler Bianchine all had singles for Sharon Springs.
