H.S. Softball Roundup: Indian Lake-Long Lake cruises past Wells, 19-2

LONG LAKE - Indian Lake-Long Lake scored four times in the first inning on its way to a 19-2 win over Wells in a Mountain and Valley Athletic Conference softball game Saturday.

Brittany Woodward was 2-for-3 for the Lady Indians (0-5 overall, 0-5 MVAC), while Bobbi-Jo Page, Sam Zemken, Maigen Wilson and Alex Brenan all had singles.

Wells is slated to host Johnsburg on Monday at 4:30 p.m.

Dolgeville 11, Westmoreland 10

WESTMORELAND - Dolgeville scored eight runs in the top of the fourth inning on its way to its first win of the season, a one-run victory over Westmoreland on Saturday.

Cheyanne Sullivan earned the win for the Blue Devils.

Ravena 10, Fonda-Fultonville 2

RAVENA - Bailey Kross homered and finished with five RBIs to power Ravena-Coeymans-Selkirk to a win over Fonda-Fultonville on Friday.

Dayanna Stevens added two RBIs for the Lady Indians (3-4 Colonial).

Sam Hart had an RBI triple for Fonda-Fultonville (2-4 overall, 2-4 Colonial).

The Lady Braves are scheduled to travel to?Watervliet on Monday for a 4:30 p.m. contest.

SCHOHARIE - Kaitlyn Kendle went 3-for-3 to lead Schoharie to a win over St. Johnsville on Friday.

The Lady Indians improved to 4-2 in WAC play with the win.

St. Johnsville slipped to 1-6 overall and 1-5 in WAC play with the loss. The Lady Saints will host Middleburgh on Monday at 4:30 p.m.
