JHS girls lacrosse loses to Clinton

JOHNSTOWN - Natalie Fiore had four goals and an assist, leading Clinton to a 12-7 win over Johnstown in a non-league girls lacrosse game Tuesday at Knox Field.

Rachel Evans finished with three goals and an assist for the Warriors, while Hannah McHarris added two goals and an assist.

Breana Karrat had two goals and an assist for Clinton, which led 6-2 at halftime. Hannah Shankman and Elizabeth Balch also scored for the Warriors.

Mikaela Etherton finished with three goals to lead Johnstown, while Kendra McCoy had two goals and an assist.

Emma Heroth registered a goal and two assists for the Lady Bills, while Megan Anagnostopulos also scored. Molly Morrison added an assist for Johnstown, which was outscored 6-5 in the second half.

Nicole Murdoch made 14 saves to earn the win in goal for Clinton.

Alexis Livingstone made 14 saves for Johnstown.

The game was a Coaches vs. Cancer fundraiser for the Lady Bills.

Johnstown (3-10 overall) is scheduled to host Schenectady today at 4:15 p.m.
