Sharron L. Williams, 59, of Wilkinson Center, Amsterdam, formerly of Gloversville, passed away on Wednesday morning, May 8, 2013, at Wilkinson Center following a long illness.
She was born on March 30, 1954, in Albany, the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Charles Shultz.
Mrs. Williams was raised in Albany and moved to Mayfield at the age of 14. She was a 1973 graduate of Mayfield Central School.
She had worked for a time as a clerk for the former Med Techs Limited in Gloversville until she had to retire due to illness.
Sharron was married to Larry A.Williams in 1974.
She was predeased by one son, Larry M. Williams in 1994.
Besides her husband, Larry of Gloversville, Sharron is survived by three sons, Danny A. Williams, Chris S. Williams and Robert J. Williams, all of Gloversville; one grandson, Matthew Allen Williams of Atlanta, Ga.; and a brother, Michael Shultz of Florida.
Friends and relatives are invited to call on the family from noon until 2 p.m. on Friday, May 10, 2013, at Walrath & Stewart Funeral Home, 51 Fremont Street, Gloversville. Private burial will take place at Prospect Hill Cemetery, Gloversville.
