Try to have clean fun

May 18, 2013
The Leader Herald

It amazes me that cigarette butts are the most common form of litter.

However, it does not surprise me. All you need to do is look around and they are everywhere. I find it particularly unsettling to see them at playgrounds and beaches.

Tobacco litter is poisonous and puts children, pets and wildlife at risk. Our playgrounds, parks and beaches should not be used as ashtrays.

The warmer weather is finally here, and it is time to get out and enjoy ourselves.

Let's all try to have some good, clean fun this summer.
