Madoline J. McCue, age 73, of Gloversville, passed away on Monday, May 20, 2013, at the Nathan Littauer Nursing Home.
Born in the town of Minden on September 23, 1939, she was the daughter of the late William Smith and Eva Gran.
She attended local schools and was employed at Diana Knit until her retirement.
Madoline was united in marriage to Thomas F. McCue on November 28, 1964, and he died on June 21, 1995.
Survivors include Rose (Robert) Miller of Florida, Bridget (Russel) Jennings of Johnstown and Jami (Chris) Stevens of Fort Plain; two brothers, William (Charlene) Smith of Johnstown and Albert Hayes of Johnstown; one sister, Elaine (Carlton) Scutt of Canajoharie; grandchildren, Jodi, Kari, Erica, Ryan, Lucas, Mackenzie and Grant; great-grandchildren, Isaac, Riley, Alexander, Makniya, Justin Cartier; many nieces, and nephews.
She was predeceased by two brothers, Leonard Smith in 1968 and Russell Hayes in 1996.
Funeral services will be conducted on Thursday at 2 p.m. at the Barter & Donnan Funeral Home, 1 N. Melcher Street, Johnstown. The Rev. Dr. R.W. Williams will officiate.
Visitation for family and friends will be on Thursday prior to the service from noon until 2 p.m. at the funeral home.
Interment will be in Maple Avenue Cemetery, Fultonville.
