JOHNSTOWN - A Gloversville man convicted of possessing drugs will be going to state prison for four years.

Jarrod "Gee" Miles, 41, of 20 Bloomingdale Ave., Gloversville, was sentenced Tuesday in Fulton County Court by Judge Polly A. Hoye to four years in state prison, as a second-felony offender.

He also received three years of post-release supervision. The defendant also pay $80 restitution.

Miles was sentenced based on his April 26 guilty plea to third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance.

Gloversville police said Miles was arrested in February after several suspects were rounded up following an investigation into drug sales in the city.

Miles was originally indicted by a county grand jury on two counts each of third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and third-degree criminal sale of a controlled substance.
