Mildred Walker, 93, of Johnstown, N.Y., passed away July 14, 2013, at Nathan Littauer Extended Care. She was born July 5, 1920, in Amsterdam, N.Y., the daughter of Giles and Grace Zeh Argersinger. She was united in marriage to William G. Walker and he passed away in July 2006. Mrs. Walker was educated in Gloversville schools and for 33 years was employed as a clerk for the Gloversville Credit Bureau. She was a lifetime member of the North Main Street United Methodist Church, the Gloversville Chapter of the O.E.S. and was active in the Meals on Wheels Program.
She is survived by her daughters, Kathleen (Harvey) Malley of Gloversville and Marilyn Buddle of Galway. Mrs. Walker is also survived by her grandchildren, Judith Whittamore, Karen Bishop, Maureen Malley and Kristen Buddle; two great-grandchildren; her brother, Richard Argersinger of San Jose, Calif.; two stepsons, William Walker and Gary Walker; nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was predeceased by her brothers, Edward, Kenneth and Wendell Argersinger; sisters, Eleanor Sherman and Dorothy Chetwynd; and her granddaughter, Susan Wollcott.
A graveside service will be held at a time to be announced by the Ehle Funeral Home. Cremation took place at Leatherstocking Crematory, Cherry Valley, N.Y.
