Physicals offered for fall student-athletes

GLOVERSVILLE - All student-athletes are required to have a physical in order to participate in sports in the Gloversville Enlarged School District.

Physicals for athletes participating in fall sports will be offered at Gloversville Middle School at 9 a.m. Tuesday. Students should bring a completed Health History Form with them. The form can be found at www.gloversvilleschools.org.

Student-athletes may also have their private physician conduct a physical prior to the start of fall sports. They should ensure that the physician completes a GESD Health Appraisal Physical Form, also available at www.gloversvilleschools.org.

Athletic Health History Forms must also be completed for each sport season. The form, which can be found at www.gloversvilleschools.org,should be filled out by a parent and then submitted to the school nurse to be completed. Students must have a physical in order to participate in sports in the GESD, according to a news release.
