Thank you to the Fulton County Planning Board, and to Carrols Corp. and Jim Meinecke for moving so quickly to get the approval for a new Burger King by the Walmart Supercenter.
This is very exciting. This new Burger King should draw more restaurants to the area. How often do you see just one stand-alone restaurant? It's great to see major corporations investing in this area; frankly, it's about time.
One parting note: In my opinion, the Johnstown Burger King would be the better option for closure. The Gloversville Burger King is an important component to the stores in that area. Now that the Walmart has moved, House of Pizza, Tractor Supply and the other stores need all the vehicle traffic they can get in order to sustain their business.
