Marvin Wayne Clem, 78, passed away Thursday, September 12, 2013, at home after a long battle of illness. Marvin went on to be reunited with his two sons in God's arms.
Marvin was born on June 17, 1935, in Floyd, Va., to the late Noah and Eva Poff Clem. He served in the United States Army. Marvin was employed for over 60 years as a truck driver.
Marvin is survived by his wife, Patricia; his children, Donna Pinales, Mary Beaugher, Kimberly (Joseph) Benise, Jessica Pope and her husband, Haven, Steven (Deliah) Stewart, Scott (Linda) Stewart; also his special grandchildren, John Morton III, Brealynn Benise, Chris Beougher (Samantha), and Shania Beougher. They were the joy of his life; also 15 grandchildren, four great-grandchildren; his sister, Margaret Harris; his caring nephew, David (Shelba) Clem; and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by two sons, Marvin Clem and Edward Clem; three brothers, Raymond, Glen and Elmer Clem; and one sister, Lillian Kuster.
Full military services will be held Wednesday, September 18, 2013, at 1 p.m. at Saratoga National Cemetery. Arrangements are being handled by the Amico Funeral Home, 150 South Main Street, Gloversville, NY.
