H.S. Golf Roundup: B-P defeats Gloversville

BROADALBIN - Alex Bond carded a 39 to lead Broadalbin-Perth to a 163-185 win over Gloversville in a Foothills Council golf match Tuesday.

Noah Scott finished with a 40 for the Patriots (6-6 overall, 5-6 Foothills), while Brett Getman posted a 31. Sean Craig added a 43 for B-P.

Josh Fonda led Gloversville with a 36, while Anthony Ponticello carded a 48. Kyle Johnston added a 50 for the Huskies and Justin Putnam finished with a 51.

Scotia-Glenville 162, Johnstown 178

JOHNSTOWN - David Renko posted a 37 to lead Scotia-Glenville to a Foothills Council win over Johnstown in a Foothills Council golf match at Fox Run Golf Club.

Dan Omicinski had a 39 for the Tartans and Tyler Popp finished with a 41. Scott Stopera added a 45 for Scotia-Glenville (11-1 Foothills).

Chris Geleta posted a 40 to lead Johnstown (5-5 Foothills), while Ben Wager finished with a 45. Stephen Russo carded a 46 for the Sir Bills and Ben Russo posted a 47.

Northville/Mayfield 9, Galway 6

GALWAY - Jordon Fordyce carded a 38 to lead Northville-Mayfield to a Western Athletic Conference win over Galway.

Frank Coulter carded a 43 for Northville-Mayfield, while Gavon Winn had a 47. Tom Pawleski added an 80 for Northville-Mayfield and Cody O'Meara had a 94.

Sam Uline led Galway with a 47, while Drake Moody-Denney posted 56. Sam Flinton carded a 60 for the Golden Eagles, and Dan Diaz finished with a 61.

Saratoga Catholic 13 1/2, Canajoharie 1 1/2

SARATOGA SPRINGS - Dylan Seeber finished with a 38 to lead Saratoga Central Catholic to a win over Canajoharie at Saratoga Spa State Park.

Drew Welcome posted a 41 for the Saints, while Colin Bradley had a 42. Kayla Szekely added a 53 for Saratoga Catholic.

Buck Anderson carded a 50 to lead Canajoharie, while Michael Balfe finished with a 55. Soren Hudyncia posted a 61 for the Cougars, while Austin Countryman had a 62.
