FULTONVILLE - The Glen Ridge Motorsports Park management took a gamble on Saturday's weather.
Despite multiple delays for passing showers, the track got a good portion of the Dobson Construction sponsored 602 Nationals presented by Sowle Tractor Repair in the books.
With more than 50 602 sportsman cars in the pits, the track ran off time trials for the division and five heat races. Picking up the qualifying event victories were Tim Sears. Tommy Johnson, Jack Gentile, John Scarborough and Kory Wilder.

In the first segment of the three-segment 602 sportsman feature, Tom?Sears Jr. won, while John?Scarborough, Dave Marcucilli, Brian?Krummel and Andy Durie completed the top five.
The second and third segments weren't completed as of press time.
Two features got in the books with Jim Becker taking the checkers in the 20-lap modified main, with Aaron Jacobs second, Josh Hohenforst third and Erik Nelson fourth.
In the 30-lap lightning cruiser event, Keith Tesiero Sr. grabbed the checkers, followed by Keith Tesiero Jr. and Shaun Ryba.
Cody?Clark picked up the victory in the 602 sportsman B-main.
