Berry earns all-star honors

Johnstown's Alexis Berry was recently named a Foothills Council girls tennis all-star.

Johnstown went 0-14 overall and 0-12 in Foothills Council play.

League champion Scotia-Glenville had three players named to the all-star team. Caitlin Estes, Sam Montague and Abby August were named all-stars for the Lady Tartans, who went 12-0 in Foothills Council play and 14-3 overall.

League runner-up Queensbury had Rebecca Sung and Sydney Scheid named to the all-star team. The Spartans finished 10-2 in league play and 10-4 overall.

Also named all-stars were Christine Arnold (South Glens Falls), Alyssa McKinney (Hudson Falls), Brianna McKinney (Hudson Falls), Tina Boyce (Greenwich) and Amanda Thomas (Greenwich).
