Boys Basketball Roundup: Saratoga Catholic tops Fort Plain

SARATOGA SPRINGS - Michael Naughton finished with 17 points, leading Saratoga Central Catholic to a 57-53 Western Athletic Conference North Division win over Fort Plain on Wednesday.

With the victory, the Saints (12-2 overall, 10-0 WAC North) clinched the division title.

Evan Pescetti scored 13 points for Saratoga Catholic.

Aiden VanLoan finished with 13 points for Fort Plain (8-6 overall, 6-4 WAC North), while Xavier Lanier posted 12 points. Kiernan Briggs had 11 points for the Hilltoppers, and Jon Calbet added 10 points.

The Cougars led 27-15 at the half on their way to the win.

Josh Gonzalez finished with 12 points for Canajoharie (9-5 overall, 7-4 WAC North), while Logan Sala added 11.
