H.S. Bowling Roundup: Canajoharie defeats Schoharie

CANAJOHARIE - The Canajoharie boys and girls bowling teams both posted wins over Schoharie in a Western Athletic Conference bowling match Thursday at Iroquois Lanes.

In the boys match, the Cougars posted a 4-0 win over the Indians.

Travis Colegrove led Canajoharie with a 229-604, while Ryan Weaver posted a 241-596. Jimmy Fiaschetti added a 211-570 for the Cougars, who finished with a 2,736-2,416 advantage in total pins.

Perry Lawyer led Schoharie with a 222-604.

In the girls match, Canajoharie registered a 3-1 win over Schoharie.

Kiara Putnam led the Lady Cougars with a 156-453, while Amy Reedy posted a 189-443.

Makayla Williams rolled a 170-476 to lead the Indians.

Canajoharie finished with a 1,931-1,852 advantage in total pins.

Lansingburgh tops FFCS

JOHNSTOWN - The Fonda-Fultonville boys and girls bowling teams both dropped decisions to Lansingburgh on Wednesday at Perry Lanes.

In the boys match, the Knights posted a 26-6 win over the Braves.

Noah Cipperly had a 214-572 for Lansingburgh, while Devon Ratigan rolled a 206-555.

Ethan Gifford led Fonda-Fultonville with a 224-507. Rob O'Kosky posted a 172-494 for FFCS, while Jesse Hayes had a 177-494.

Lansingburgh finished with a 3,284-2,753 advantage in total pins.

In the girls match, Lansingburgh posted a 31 1/2-1/2 win over the Lady Braves.

Gianna Weiss had a 195-447 to lead Lansingburgh, which finished with a 2,650-869 advantage in total pins.
