Northville girls post win over Heatly

NORTHVILLE - Lyndsey Wadsworth finished with 30 points, leading Northville to a 57-47 win over Heatly in a non-league girls basketball contest Tuesday.

The Lady Falcons outscored the Hornets 18-12 in the final quarter to seal the victory.

Mary Ryan scored 13 points for Northville (5-9 overall), which ended a three-game losing streak.

Cayla Heffern scored 11 points to lead Heatly (11-4 overall), which had won seven straight games. Brittany Murphy finished with nine points for the Hornets.

Northville is scheduled to host Galway on Friday at 6 p.m. in a Western Athletic Conference North Division contest.
