FMCC men, women record wins

SCHENECTADY - Monae Abrams finished with 18 points, leading Fulton-Montgomery Community College to a 65-60 win over Schenectady County Community College in a Mountain Valley Conference women's basketball game Wednesday.

Katrina Garrett added 11 points for the Lady Raiders.

Amsterdam graduate Monique Pucci scored 19 points to lead Schenectady County (13-4 overall, 6-2 Mountain Valley Conference), while Ashley Creighton finished with 14 points. Shiann Coons added 13 points for the Lady Royals.

FMCC men roll past Royals

SCHENECTADY - Kadeem Stanislas finished with 18 points, leading Fulton-Montgomery Community College to a 94-63 win over Schenectady County Community College in a Mountain Valley Conference men's basketball game.

The Raiders jumped out to a 15-2 lead in the opening minutes of the game and led 45-26 on their way to the win.

Kenny Barr scored 14 points for FMCC, while Marquis Edwards had 11 points. Tyrone Davis added 10 points for the Raiders.

Aaron Francis finished with 26 points to lead Schenectady County, while Jeremy Gregg and Shaquille Harding each had 16 points.

Fulton-Montgomery (7-11 overall) will host SUNY Delhi on Saturday at 3 p.m. in a Mountain Valley Conference contest.
