H.S. Bowling Roundup: Amsterdam defeats Schenectady

AMSTERDAM - Billy McGaffin rolled games of 213, 226 and 247 on his way to a 686 series, leading Amsterdam to a 5-2 win over Schenectady in a Big 10 bowling match at Kelly's Imperial Bowling Center on Wednesday.

Joe Spagnola posted a 218-605 for the Rams, while Marc LaBahn finished with a 214-594.

Kyle Forster led Schenectady with a 265-644, while Joey Davis rolled a 215-587. Zach Schellender added a 234-585 for the Patriots.

Canajoharie 3, Middleburgh 1

CANAJOHARIE - Travis Colegrove finished with a 241-656, leading Canajoharie to a Western Athletic Conference win over Middleburgh at Iroquois Lanes.

Jimmy Fiaschetti posted a 226-597 for the Cougars, while Dakota Montayne added a 192-508.

Billy Miaski rolled a 234-561 to lead Middleburgh, while Matt Duell posted a 178-496.

Canajoharie finished with a 2,731-2,506 advantage in total pins.

Colonial Council

Fonda-Fultonville 18, Waterford 14

WATERFORD - Lucas Squadrito rolled a 180-599, leading Fonda-Fultonville to a 18-14 win over Waterford-Halfmoon in a Colonial Council bowling match Tuesday.

Rob O'Kosky finished with a 213-571 for the Braves.

Dom Ippolito rolled a 200-554 to lead Waterford, which finished with a 2,665-2,621 advantage in total pins.

CANAJOHARIE - Kiara Putnam rolled a 188-543, leading Canajoharie to a Western Athletic Conference win over Middleburgh at Iroquois Lanes.

Amy Reedy posted a 154-426 for the Lady Cougars, while Kendra Kilcullen added 165-402.

Taylor Dolan finished with a 142-420 for Middleburgh, while Carolyne Shultes added a 129-354.
