Mr. Victor N. Fusco, age 87, of Gloversville, died Tuesday morning, April 1, 2014, at Nathan Littauer Hospital Nursing Home.
He was born April 20, 1926, in Italy, the son of the late Andrew and Rose Pasquarelli Fusco. His family came to this country when he was an infant, settling in Amsterdam. He served in the Army from 1944 to 1946 in the Pacific Theater of Operations during World War II. He came to Gloversville when he married his wife, Emily Smimmo, on June 4, 1949. She died November 20, 1997.
Victor was employed by MCA Record Co. of Gloversville for 35 years, retiring in 1991. He was a member of the Church of the Holy Spirit. He enjoyed woodworking and gardening.

He is survived by a daughter, Roxanne M. Person (Ed), and a sister, Ann Fusco, all of Gloversville; a grandson, Tyler LaRowe (Jenn) of Syracuse; several nieces, nephews and cousins.
In addition to his wife, he was predeceased by a daughter, Victoria M. Fusco; and six brothers and sisters, Anthony Fusco, Joseph Fusco, Domenic Fusco, Edith Markowicz, Marlene Boice and Margaret Fusco.
The family will receive relatives and friends from 4 to 6 p.m. Thursday, April 3rd, at Walrath & Stewart Funeral Home, 51 Fremont St., Gloversville, where a prayer service will be conducted at 9:15 a.m. Friday, followed by a mass of Christian burial at 10:00 a.m. at the Church of the Holy Spirit, Gloversville. The Rev. Matthew Wetsel will be the celebrant.
Spring burial will take place at a later date at Mount Carmel Cemetery, Johnstown.
