GLOVERSVILLE - A
Gloversville man has been charged with burglary and attempted assault after an incident April 8.
Devin E. Jacksland, 18, of 72 Park St., was charged by police with second-degree burglary, first-degree criminal contempt and third-degree attempted assault after an alleged incident Tuesday afternoon.
According to police, Jacksland went into 170 Spring St. and entered without permission.
Police said the occupants demanded Jacksland leave, but he refused.
According to a news release from the police, a minor altercation occurred and Jackland had to be physically removed from the residence by one of the occupants.
Police said an order of protection had been filed by one of the occupants, which Jacksland violated by pushing the victim to the ground during the altercation.
Jacksland was arraigned and sent to the Fulton County Correctional Facility on $2,500 cash bail or $5,000 bond bail.
