We would like to thank all who attended our American Association of University Women's inaugural "Celebration."
People were mixing, meeting, trying on hats fashioned by Donna Cerasuolo, and posing for photos taken by photographer Darlene Bornt. Under the direction of Jahnn Gibson; Katerina James, Meghan Roehl, Sarah Subik, Julie Capito, Alexis Tirado and Melissa Ackerknecht were polished models as they strolled the Eccentric Club, displaying hats that were later auctioned.
The raffle basket, silent auction and ad committee members did a wonderful job obtaining items and ads. Linda Hammond exhibited her "tech" savvy in design of the program, while Holly Rigos and Sandy Lane designed the invitation. M.C. Bob Cudmore added a humorous touch to the auction that kept the audience laughing and bidding. Harp music by Nancy Walko set the scene and Frank Manning provided entertainment during the brunch and background for the hat auction. The setting of the Eccentric Club and efficiency of Jeff Graves helped make the Celebration run smoothly. Brunch prepared by Wine and Roses was delicious.
