AMSTERDAM - Police arrested three Amsterdam residents on a drug-possession charge Wednesday.
According to a news release from the Amsterdam Police Department, city officers, along with the state police Community Narcotics Enforcement Team, conducted undercover surveillance.
During the investigation, two traffic stops were conducted, leading to three people being charged, police said.
Police said they found heroin and cocaine, and $1,665 in cash.
Heriberto Nadal, 22, of 11 Williams St.; Pedro Rosado, 20, of 10 Crane St.; and Zahtwon Pringle, 23, of 35 Eagle St. were all charged with third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance.
Nadal and Rosado were also charged with first-degree loitering.
The three were held for arraignment in Amsterdam City Court.
