How about we take the $80,000 and apply it to the minefields we call our streets?

I agree with g'ville & DanKherb 100%. How many times during the summer do you see Gloversville police officers sitting in front of the old Eckerds (now rite-aid) chatting with little teenage girls for at least 45 minutes at a rip. So no i don't think Gloversville should hire any new police officers. Maybe if they try doing their jobs instead of sitting in various parking lots around the city.

yes we need more police officers to go after the dangerous potheads. Get the potheads..Arrest them all, put them all in jail..Let some more pedophiles go to make room. Pedophiles aren't dangerous, they can be rehabilitated, a pothead is forever.

Need to clean out the ones that we have. Fact- Local Gloversville cops mess around with young teenage girls. From this i have no respect for any of the law enforcement in the city. Cooruption, i totally agree with DanKherb. Small city full of crooked officials that does nothing for the city but manipulates for self worth. If there are honest cops they know of crooked ones so they are just as guilty!

That's what we need. More smoke to blur the corruption! How about a clinic to treat rotted teeth, teenage motherhood, addiction, corruption, pedophilia, and let's not forget the GOD complex of judgeship.? More cops should address this: more inmates, more taxes, and more corruption.

You mean to tell me that a city that is in such a fiscal mess, is actually going to further burden taxpayers with two more offices. Who is going to be accontable and sensible in that city. STOP STOP STOP, the fiscal bleeding!!!!!!!
