SENSIBLE- I haven't retracted anything I previously said have I? why do you say "too late"....to be honest,I'd rather be among monkies than the current President. Why does this bother you?

RS...So,you consider yourself above the people who ride "the short bus"...a term widely known for,um,I guess Lexington folks? I really dont know, but YOU DO! BURNED.Period.You refer to a whole slew of disadvantaged people that have/had no choice in life. They have to deal with the had dealt them. I,on the other hand,at least have the nads to single out someone. Worst of all,you cannot post 1 reason to support women in combat. At this point I dont respect your opinions anyway. You've been exposed.
RS,I dont spend a lot of time on here, but happened to notice the question the LH posted.Since you cannot support your position with reasons why,I guess I wasted my time.Just trying to get different points of view.

taxtired, please do not attempt to take the focus away from what the thought-challenged Pingary said in his reference to the President as a monkey, again a term generally accepted as being racist as if to imply African-Americans are primates or some species below humans. Hitler thought the same.

rs How dare you comparing the bottom 5 percent to people from Lexington. You should be ashamed of yourself.
Pingary, that comment was racist and iu know it. Too late, you said it, no one else.

RS, Surely,if I was in the bottom 5% of the academic standings as you suggest, then you should find it pretty easy to deflect my opinion of your position on women in combat. I had no intention of shrugging off your or anyone elses reasons to support women in combat. You just assumed so. As for your current leader,my opinion of him is my business.I may actually consider him inferior to a monkey. So,why do you support women in frontline combat roles?

drugsrus, once again, not all President Obama supports are 'liberal' (myself included), although I think you'd agree that most people would find it rather unreasonable (your words, not mine) to argue with someone like Pingary, who chooses to hurl racial epithets in lieu of an actual argument for or against something. There's a special place for people like that, usually found at the bottom 5% of the academic standings just above people who ride the short bus. Simply put, Pingary crossed the line probably more so than anyone else on this chat board.
Having said that, I really can't think of any time where you were able to successfully argue something against me. Just wanted to make that very, very clear, because as it stands, whenever I or anyone else throws a fact into the equation, there comes druggy and company to insert made-up 'facts' and unverified citations from biased news 'sources.' I can provide a million example if needed.

swizzer take a chill pill, relax before you have a stroke or heart attack. Your liberalism is really showing when "anyone in my position will surely have their comment shredded to pieces by your pre-judged brain". You never were good at debate, just rambling on to make your voice heard when anybody says anything derogatory about king Barry.IF you showed some reasoning behind your decision or position, maybe somebody might agree with you.

Also, pinhead, pea-brained Pingary. I know the news travels slow to your trailer park, but I guess you should be reminded that it was not the President's idea alone to have women serve on the front lines.
Also, where were you when this was made a rule to begin with and then revoked in the 90's? Did a 'monkey' have anything to do with it then? That's what I thought.
Pingary, I'm for women in the combat lin; but I'm not going to give you my reasons why, plentiful as they are. You've already stated a distaste for this, so anyone in my position will surely have their comment shredded to pieces by your pre-judged brain. You're basically trying to bait with a straw man and loaded question.
Also, you referred to an African-American man as a monkey, which is widely accepted as being a racist offense (below: 'Maybe that monkey you elected in DC...'), which is proof that you are a person that is unable to be reasoned with.
And anyone who disagrees with this is in the same category.

To those of you who believe women should be in front line combat roles, could you list a few reasons why you feel this way? Thanks in advance....

ToT- great post except for the end. I was right beside you and then - what???
MrBoB- you hit a homerun with that one.

I wonder if Obama would approve of his daughters in a combat role? Princes William and Harry went for it, even though they'll get to take the rest of their lives "off" after the military, unless you consider being king tough work.
I remember a time when you could say what was true without the penalty for being correct. When you could name the enemy and fight them all without waiting for them to be identified. I remember when actions spoke louder than words and when you judged people by their actions, not by political correctness. When we lived our lives making decisions about who we were and what we wanted all by ourselves. I want a do-over! I want everyone to be able to do as they please as long as it doesn't harm others. Life would be easy if you could call the kettle black without being called a racist. And for those of you that can't follow along... this is all about allowing women to serve in combat.

What a laugh you are Rs. I had you pegged from the beginning, I accurately defined you and that you can do nothing about it upsets you to no end. It shows up in your posts. Your incoherent ramblings and constant defense of stupidity is always expected. Once again you offer nothing except derision. You are nothing more than an ill informed antagonist. 'That's disgusting'.. of course, it was meant to be. Even you got it although it was not directed at you. So you stay comfortable in your progressive cheap seat and leave the adults to get things done. Stamping your feet and accusing everybody else of what YOU are is about the only consistent trait you have. As for 'calling me out on the carpet'...You don't have that power and NEVER will puppy. HAHAHA!!

MrBoB51, You're nothing but a proven misogynist judging by your words alone, and you've been called out on the carpet now.
