notgood, 'get off the government nipple'? What are you talking about?
I run a successful small business, have employees to provide for, pay the necessary payroll taxes and health benefits, and retirement contributions. I've made this clear before.
You should probably learn some facts before saying moronic comments like that.
MrBoB51, correct on Cyprus, although consider the following, especially when it involves the sneaky, slimy Russians.
In 2011 Russians lended $2.5BB to Cyprus for a bailout. That's yet to be paid back.
Now Cyprus is mandating it's own people bailout the government. The problem is that the largest deposit-account holders in Cyprus have alleged ties to the Russian mob. And we know how mobsters love paying taxes, right?
Ok, back on topic. This past weekend reveled another progressive regulatory success story...The President of Cyprus implemented a 'forced reallocation' of 10% of bank depositors funds mandated under the guise of an 'equality investment' in order to bail out the Country. In other words, Cyprus mandated a 'wealth tax' on people who save. Welcome to forced redistribution.
There was a time when journalists "didn't see" that sort of thing. They all knew stuff went on BUT it was personal - not for public eyes. It was a time when everybody had more respect for each other.
ToT, actually he wasn't lying. I remember the talking heads at the time consulting dictionaries and the only definition of "having sex" was the deed. It's a matter of words but he didn't have sex with her,but a case could be made on whether or not she had sex with him. I hate to say it but I was on Bill's side on this one. It was nobody's business, had nothing to do with the job of president AND the biggest and best argument was that that wasn't the first time the pres. had an affair.
Actually former President Clinton went on record as saying "I never had sexual relations with that woman". Just one of the many lies that liberals fully support, even after his impeachment!
RS you are so full of it, we should all just believe you never used marijuana because you said so? What ever, Thats almost like Clinton saying I didn't have sex in the white house. Your points are nothing but your opinion. Nothing factual!!!
MrBoB51, I've never used marijuana in my life. However, I believe in raw data, which shows alcohol to contribute to more deaths, shows no one has ever died of a pot overdose, shows pot isn't addictive like alcohol and other drugs, shows pot alcohol is less thought of as being as harmful to the body and yet impairs judgment more effectively than pot. The list goes on.
Scare, I'm not a Republican but legalizing pot would take all the fun and excitement out of speeding, takin' some hits on a doobie and forgetting you left the baggie on the seat when the popo pull you over.
Yes, Rs, pot does effect your brain, esp. your memory because you don't seem to remember the progressive nonsense you've been throwing around for the last six months or so. On the other hand, if you have had an epiphany, tell us about it.
Question for all the 'Republicans' who want hands off food regulation on the grounds that the government should not be able to dictate what you do to your body: where are you on NY legalizing marijuana?
ES - "... you're comparing the requirement of what it takes to becoming a citizen versus someone who was born here. ..."
As a society we have certain things in common. One of those is the language that we speak. As Americans we have determined that we will speak English as a language, and to join our society you must speak English. I believe you will have an extremely difficult time finding any of the 200 plus countries in the world with an "official language". It is an unwritten standard.
The've already taken over too much, and the nonproductive slugs in our society are the only ones who appreciate MORE government. Government needs to get OUT of our lives.

notgood, rather than spill rhetoric, can you please cite which comment wasn't 'factual'? Either list it or leave the extra chromosome home next time.
