It just does not fit the progressive mindset that they agreed with President Bush about anything. SO they go to the liars well and just distance themselves saying Bush's fault. No need to go any further. The reason America was behind the Afghanistan and Iraq wars was that we ALL believed that we were doing the right thing... now pres. Obama... LOL how could we?

"And their statements were not accurate Scarecrow."
Actually, based on the available information they were accurate. Let us not forget, Hindsight is always 20-20

And to add to that Hill...one can only wonder if the GOP can possibly match their last Pres. primary, aka travelling sideshow. And with the right wing wackos actually having a voice in the party, it's no wonder the GOP has more to fear from within, than from the Dems.

TOT: You interjected the nonsense. What is your source for making a statement that Hillary is gay? And you are correct, her sexual preference is her business and no one else's. However, it just goes to show how deperate the Repubs are, and they still don't get it.

Hilltopper... lesbian p o r n o s? That may be your style, not mine! But why would that bother a progressive? I thought that you were in favor of gays? Look who is homophobic now...

Sorry with the double post. Cheney and Rummy were obsessed with attacking Iraq and finding justification for doing so. They even buffaloed Colin Powell. It's too bad they didn't listen to the joint chiefs and Colin...both were saying that 350-400,000 troops were needed for the invasion. Rummy and Cheney, both with no ground war experience, said 150,000 would be sufficient.
And their statements were not accurate Scarecrow...but simply saying it is hardly the same thing as actually doing it and attacking the country. Saddam was a brutal murderous dictator of a powerless regime...made powerless by the gulf war, by economic sanctions, by continuous bombings after the war, and under constant surveillance from no-fly zones. Also, Cheney was practically living at CIA headquarters, trying to link Saddam to Al Qaeda. Iraqis were the most liberal of the muslim sects, Bin Laden's crew wanted nothing to do with them...but then we invaded Iraq, and Bin Laden to his followers..."look, they've invaded our brothers and sisters." If the goal was to get rid of a ruthless dictatorship, why go into Iraq??..invade the Congo, Zaire...those regimes made Saddam look like Walt Disney. The gains we made in Afghan were steadily lost, causing more lives to be lost. And look at Iraq today, we're still paying for it.
If the goal was to get rid of a ruthless dictatorship, why start with Iraq??
Or how about Yugoslavia....
Fact is, the belief the WMDs existed was real and not a lie. Believing in False Information, is not a lie.

"We know that he has stored secret supplies of biological and chemical weapons throughout his country." -- Al Gore, Sept. 23, 2002
"Iraq's search for weapons of mass destruction has proven impossible to deter and we should assume that it will continue for as long as Saddam is in power." -- Al Gore, Sept. 23, 2002
"We have known for many years that Saddam Hussein is seeking and developing weapons of mass destruction." -- Sen. Ted Kennedy (D, MA), Sept. 27, 2002
Laker, I see what you mean. one of these people are fit to serve.

"Without question, we need to disarm Saddam Hussein. He is a brutal, murderous dictator, leading an oppressive regime ... He presents a particularly grievous threat because he is so consistently prone to miscalculation ... And now he is miscalculating America's response to his continued deceit and his consistent grasp for weapons of mass destruction ... So the threat of Saddam Hussein with weapons of mass destruction is real..." -- Sen. John F. Kerry

"In the four years since the inspectors left, intelligence reports show that Saddam Hussein has worked to rebuild his chemical and biological weapons stock, his missile delivery capability, and his nuclear program. He has also given aid, comfort, and sanctuary to terrorists, including al Qaeda members ... It is clear, however, that if left unchecked, Saddam Hussein will continue to increase his capacity to wage biological and chemical warfare, and will keep trying to develop nuclear weapons." -- Sen. Hillary Clinton (D, NY), Oct 10, 2002

laker, and JFK made Clinton look like a boy scout in the woman chasing dept. Hey there Skippy, in case you haven't heard those guys are out. Right now we are dealing with a lying Arab Muslim that pulled the wool over enough eyes to get elected. And the sheeple were dumb enough to do it again. I don't know -- maybe it feels good.

President Obama is not alone with the lies! On May 15, Holder told the committee he wasn't involved in "the potential prosecution" of a member of the press under the Espionage Act for disclosing classified information. "This is not something I've ever been involved in, heard of, or would think would be wise policy," he said. Shortly thereafter, reports began to surface that the Justice Department, in addition to seizing telephone and email records of Associated Press reporters, had seized the the emails and phone records of Fox News correspondent James Rosen. While Holder had recused himself from the AP proceedings, the Washington Post reported that the attorney general had personally signed off on the search warrant for Rosen's records.
Hill, maybe by '16 your girlfriend Hilary will be on parole. She needs to do time for her incompetance

Palin and Bachman are two wannabees that couldn't shine Hillary's shoes. Even the Repubs know enough to distance themselves from Palin. My take is that the Tea Party leaders will be appeased by a promise of political appointments if they stay out of the race, thus giving the GOP a better chance in '16. Hillary por " El presidente de los Estados Unidos, Guillermo por premiro hombre".
"Palin and Bachman...strong, independent,and intelligent!"..hmm, interesting!

No, not honest about Benghazi, Obamacare, IRS, media wire taps or really anything at all. Liar, cheat and thief!
The answer to the poll is still --NO and is being proven more and more every day
drugsrus - The problem here is that Liberals fear Strong, Independent, Intelligent woman. Hence the reason for their war on women. Look how they Demonize Palin, Bachman, Angel, et al.
As fro the CEOs, they may be just paper pushers. But they also set the tone for the organization, Their philosophy and vision filters down the corporate ladder to the lowest employee, and they all respond.

Scarecrow, many of those private sector leaders are simply greedy paper pushers looking out for the bottom line. There aren't many true leaders around to come out of the woodwork and lead this great nation.
I have a question for the "disagree"er on the Palin book -- did you read it ??? or just disagree with my post because I posted.
