Historical society to hold public meeting

GLOVERSVILLE — On Thursday, May 21st at 5:30 p.m., the Fulton County Historical Society Board of Directors will host a public meeting via Google Meet to elect five directors, each for a term of one year, election of officers, the reading of reports, and to transact other such business as may legally come before this meeting. The board invites the public to share with them thoughts and ideas about programming for 2020 and beyond and how the FCHS can better serve the community. Driver reaches speeds over 100 mph

MINDEN — A driver led state police on a pursuit May 2 on the Thruway, reaching speeds of more than 100 mph, before pulling over where one of her passengers to fled to on foot. At approximately 8:45 p.m., state police stopped a vehicle on I-90 for a vehicle and traffic violation.
