Antoinette Tropia, 90, of Gloversville died October 6, 2021 at Nathan-Littauer Hospital with her special friend Sue Frasier by her side. Born in Gloversville, the daughter of the late Carmelo and Concetta Mele Tropia. She was a bookkeeper who worked for many area businesses in the area. Antoinette was a communicat of the Church of the Holy Spirit and a member of its Sisters of the Holy Spirit, a member of the Nathan-Littauer Hospital Auxillary, and a volunteer at Mt. Valley Hospice. George E. King, Sr., 68, of Gloversville, passed October 7, 2021, after a brief illness surrounded by loved ones. George was born December 28, 1952, in Gloversville, and is the child of Virgil King and Kathleen (Steele) King. George attended Gloversville schools until moving on to his passion of working as a body fabricator restoring classic and antique cars with his brother Mike at Gifford’s Auto. In 1980, George married Deborah Ramsey and had George King Jr. the following year, and later adopted Jennifer and Kristina.
