Since 2005, The Lexington Foundation has held its annual Night Out Gala as a celebration of what Lexington does. Law enforcement witnesses speak in court in Sue Kelly animal abuse case

A probable cause hearing was held Friday in the case of a Mayfield women who has been charged with 55 counts of torturing or injuring animals and failing to provide sustenance. Susan E. Kelly, 71, of 587 State Highway 349, appeared in Mayfield Town Court Friday. She was arrested last year after police found 48 dogs, two rabbits, two goats, one horse, and more than a dozen ducks and chickens on the property. BROADALBIN — The Broadalbin Diner reopened this week after extensive water damage caused the restaurant to close for two months.The restaurant opened its doors to customers again Wednesday after being closed since July 3. ALBANY - Higher temperatures are expected in the Capital Region next week, but meteorologists are not expecting it to break any records. After a few weeks of temperatures in the 70s and low 80s, temperatures are expected to be higher during the week of Labor Day. “We are looking at a return of summertime warmth next week,” said Christina Speciale, a meteorologist with the National Weather Service in Albany. “But, it’s not uncommon for this time of year.
