B-P slates forum

BROADALBIN – Residents of the Broadalbin-Perth Central School District will have the opportunity to speak with B-P’s architects, engineer, financial adviser and others about the district’s proposed $39.7 million capital project during a public forum starting at 6 p.m. Tuesday in the Margaret Robin Blowers Auditorium at Broadalbin-Perth High School.

The forum will begin with an overview of the proposed project, including how the project was developed, highlights of work to be completed as part of the project, and how the project would be paid for.

At the conclusion of the formal presentation, residents who have questions about the project proposal will be invited to speak with the experts at stations set up in the auditorium lobby, including architects from CSArch, an engineer from Environmental Design Partnership, and a financial adviser from Donegan Associates.

Residents will also have the opportunity to speak about future program possibilities with B-P’s building principals and get information about voting from the district clerk.

Free babysitting will be available in the gymnasium, staffed by members of the Key Club, SADD and National Honor Society and their advisers.

Residents who are unable to attend the forum can find detailed capital project information on the district website, www.bpcsd.org/2016-capital-project.
