The Sacandaga Valley Arts Network has announced workshops scheduled for May.
All of the workshops require tuition, a news release said.
The workshops include:
– Tropical Arrangement. The workshop will take place May 3 from 6 to 8 p.m.; or May 7 from 2 to 4 p.m. The workshop will be led by James Dempsey, floral and fiber artist, at Studio Herbage, 13 W. Main St. For more information, call 762-7755.
– Spring painting class with acrylics and oils. The workshop will take place May 11, 18, 25, and June 1, 8 and 15.
The workshop will be led by Constance Dodge of Dodge House Lakeside Gallery at the Edinburg Community Center, 47 Military Road, Edinburg. Call 863-2201 for more information.
– Eggshell Mosaics 101. The workshop will take place May 14 and 15 at the SVAN Arts Center, 132 S. Main St., Northville. The workshop will be led by Linda Biggers, mosaic artist. Call 883-8576 for more information.
– Introduction to needle felting. The workshop will take place from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. May 21 at the SVAN Arts Center, 132 S. Main St., Northville. Eileen Testo, fiber artist, will lead the workshop. For more information, call 797-9769.
