On Nov. 17, Gloversville Middle School students placed signs on the schools’ lawns to call attention to the Great American Smokeout, a day dedicated for smokers across the nation to make a plan to quite for the day. The message of the signs focused on the cost savings associated with quitting and how that savings could be used toward attending a tobacco-free college.
