Arthritis exercise classes scheduled

JOHNSTOWN — HealthLink Littauer, the community health and wellness service of Nathan Littauer Hospital and Nursing Home, announced a series of Tai Chi for arthritis classes will begin Friday from 1 to 2 p.m. at 2 Colonial Court. 

“This exercise program is specifically designed to help those with arthritis, joint and muscle problems,” said Sue Cridland, who is certified by the Tai Chi for Health Institute.  “Come learn twelve gentle movements of Sun-style Tai Chi to improve flexibility, strength, balance, mental focus and your performance of daily activities.”

These classes will meet once each week for 10 weeks.  There is a fee of $50 that includes all sessions. 

To learn more, attend the first session at no obligation.  Class size is limited to 12 participants.
