FONDA —The Frothingham Free Library, 28 W. Main St., will hold registration for its 2017 summer reading program — Build a Better World — until Aug. 9.
The summer reading program is for children and teens ages 1 to 18. Registration and all programs are free. Registration includes a reading record in which children record titles of books read during the summer.
For each book read, a ticket can be filled out for prizes awarded weekly from June 26 until Aug. 16.
Everyone who reads and records books in their reading record will receive a book at the end of the program.
Children also can sign up for programs that begin Monday. The summer program schedule is available at the library, on the library Facebook page, or on fonlib.blogspot.com.
Children must be accompanied by an adult to all programs. Register for programs by calling the library at (518) 853-3016 during library hours.

Library hours are Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m., Friday from noon to 7 p.m., and Saturday from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
