GLOVERSVILLE — Melanie Fay will teach a beginners creative art workshop from 6 to 8 p.m. on Wednesday, May 9, in art studio two at the Paul Nigra Center For Creative Arts, 2736 Route 30.
Participants will explore with markers, paint, pencils and paper in a carefree and supportive environment, according to a news release. The workshop is intended to create a space for creative play, where the instinct to “mess around” with art is embraced and shared. It will conclude with a simple exercise to reflect on their art and an opportunity to share with others.
The cost will be $25 with preregistration or $35 at the door, with a 20 percent discount for center members.
To register, visit pncreativeartscenter.org or call (518) 661-9932.
