Department of Transportation complete end of month road work

UTICA — The following is the New York State Department of Transportation roadwork report for Oct. 29, week. The pavement striping will occur in counties to include Hamilton, Fulton and Montgomery. The motorists may encounter lane shifts or lane closures with flaggers in place, according to a news release.

Montgomery County

Town of Florida:

∫ Route 5S over Terwilleger Creek. The motorists will encounter one way alternating traffic with a temporary signal in place due to bridge replacement.

∫ Route 5S between Main Street and the city of Amsterdam line. The motorists will encounter lane closures in both directions with flaggers in place due to road reconstruction.

Village of Palatine:

∫ Route 10 between Palatine Bridge and the Fulton County line. The motorists will encounter lane closures in both directions with flaggers in place due to paving operations.

City of Amsterdam:

∫ Route 67 between Widow Susan Road and the Saratoga County Line. Motorists will encounter lane closures in both directions with flaggers in place due to sign installation, seeding and mulch.

Town of Fultonville:

∫ Route 920P, Route 30A between Route 5S and state Thruway Exit 27. Motorists will encounter lane closures in all directions with flaggers in place due to signal work, paving operations, sign installation and culvert work.

Fulton County

Lassellsville:

Route 29 between Clemons Road and Kingsbush Road. The motorists will encounter lane closures in both directions with flaggers in place due to paving operations.

Caroga:

∫Route 10 between Route 10A and Route 8. The motorists will encounter one way alternating traffic with flaggers in place due to the removal and installation of guiderail.

Hamilton County

Town of Indian Lake:

∫ Route 28 between Route 19 and Route 30. The motorists will encounter shoulder closures in both directions with flaggers in place due to sign replacement.

Pavement striping will be occurring in Oneida, Madison, Herkimer, Fulton, Montgomery and Hamilton Counties. Motorists may encounter lane shifts or lane closures with flaggers in place.
