GLOVERSVILLE — Micropolis Cooperative will hold a meet-the-artists reception at the gallery, 30 N. Main St., on Friday, Nov. 2, from 5 to 7 p.m. to showcase the work of 33 artists. Ten area guest artists were invited to join Micropolis artists in the show.
The guest artists are Carolyn Adamczyk, Marion Kratky, Marion Morrison Leap, Mary Frances Millet, Sandy Peters, Judith Plotner, Sue Schmader, Jessica Seeley, Patsy Suydam and Lise Winne. Their work will be displayed alongside the new work of gallery members.
Artwork on display will include paintings, drawings, pastels, photographs, fiber art, batik, mixed media, woodwork, glass, digital art, jewelry, pottery, stained glass, woodland assemblages and fine art cards. A “Charlie Brown tree of ornaments” will also be in the gallery for the holiday season.
The free show runs through December at Micropolis, which is located inside Mohawk Harvest Cooperative Market, is open seven days a week: Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 7 p.m., Saturday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Sunday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
