GLOVERSVILLE — North Country Appliance Repair, LLC., a local appliance repair company, received an honorable mention for their attendance at the United Servicers Association’s 2018 Appliance Service Training Institute (ASTI) in St. Pete Beach, FL, January 22 through 25, according to a news release.
The ASTI is hosted by the United Servicers Association (USA), and is the largest event of its kind, drawing more than 550 appliance repair professionals annually. Participants from across the United States and Canada gather for appliance repair classes in business management, marketing, and technology.
“This is the premier event for our industry. I’ve attended the last eight years and would not be where I am at today without this training,” says Owner/Technician Bob Getman.
During the event, North Country Appliance Repair received hands-on technical training from top appliance manufacturers including Samsung, Whirlpool, GE, Frigidaire, Bosch, LG, Dacor and more. The training is designed to keep technicians up-to-date with the latest appliance technology and repair trends, making the ASTI one of the most important events for appliance repair technicians nationwide.
Bob Getman, owner of North Country Appliance Repair, also attended multiple business courses during the event. “It’s great to be able to bundle the technical hands-on training with the business courses”.
