The state Department of Transportation reports area roadwork, effective today:
Montgomery County
∫ Fort Hunter: Route 5S between Fort Hunter Road and Hill and Marks. Motorists will encounter lane closures in both directions with flaggers in place due to paving operations.
Fulton County
∫ Johnstown: Route 30A between Briggs Street and Townsend Avenue. Motorists will encounter north- and southbound lane closures with flaggers in place due to a new traffic pattern, drainage work and signal work.
∫ Mayfield: Routes 30 and 30A. Motorists will encounter lane closures in all directions at the intersection due to signal and sign work.
Hamilton County
∫ Inlet Hamlet of Raquette Lake: Route 28 between Eagle Bay and Raquette Lake. Motorists will encounter lane closures in both directions with flaggers in place due to shoulder work, drainage operations and ditching.
∫ Arietta: Route 8 between Old Piseco Road (County Highway 24) north and south.
