∫ Sacandaga Valley Arts Network Artists’ Gallery Exhibit: Fulton County Visitor Center, Routes 29 and 30, Vail Mills. Free and open to the public. Gallery is open weekends.

∫ First membership art show exhibit: Paul Nigra Center for Creative Arts, 2736 Route 30, Gloversville, featuring only the work of its member artists, through Wednesday. The works on display include paintings, photography, sculpture and fiber art. The public is welcome to view the show from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Friday; and from 9 a.m. to noon Saturday. The gallery admission is $5; and free to Nigra Arts Center members, participating artists, and children younger than 18.

∫ Linda Biggers — artist of the month: Frothingham Free Library, 28 W. Main St., Fonda. The artwork exhibit can be viewed during library hours. The work will be on display through July.

∫ Janene Bouck — Sacandaga Valley Arts Network Gallery photography exhibit: Northville Library, 341 S. Third St., Northville. The exhibit will be on display through the end of August.

∫ Kevin Kuhne featured artist: Micropolis Gallery, 30 N. Main St., Gloversville. Kuhne works in watercolor as the main medium and mixed media constructions. Paintings, drawings, pastels, photographs, fiber art, batik, mixed media, woodwork, glass, digital art, jewelry, pottery, woodland assemblages and fine art cards by Micropolis artists are also on display. The show, which is free and open to the public, (runs through August) from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday through Friday; from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday; and from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday.

∫ Northville Rotary’s annual Woodworking and Fine Arts Weekend, Northampton Town Park Northville, 412 S. Main St. More than 60 artist will display and sell their work. The weekend will begin Friday with a “Meet the Artist reception” from 5 to 8 p.m. Saturday will be running from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. and include demonstrations, raffles, and a silent auction. Food can be purchased from a number of vendors. Proceeds from this event will be used throughout the year to provide scholarships to students, support community organizations, and projects of Rotary International. ∫ Sunset Festival, Mohawk Valley Gateway Overlook Pedestrian Bridge, 1 Bridge St. Amsterdam, Head down to Bridge Street, meet up with friends, grab dinner or a drink, take a stroll down to the river, then walk over the beautiful Mohawk Valley Gateway Overlook Bridge to catch buskers (street performers) and a beautiful sunset. Then stay and enjoy great concerts starting at 7 p.m. at the Riverlink Park Summer Concert Series. This week’s featured concert is Across the Pond, a Beatles tribute band at Riverlink Park.
