Live entertainment back at Dorn Space


GLOVERSVILLE — Live arts and entertainment return to Dorn Space at 99 N. Main Street in downtown Gloversville on Saturday at 7 p.m.

After a 13 month hiatus due to state COVID regulations, Dorn Space and similar small-sized venues have been given the green light to resume operations.

Dorn Space has booked a series of events beginning with Saturday’s show featuring music, poetry and storytelling from local artist, Kevin Scott. Admission for Saturday’s event is $5 (cash/door only). A mask is required for entry and state COVID safety guidelines will be in effect.

Upcoming Dorn Space live events:

∫ Saturday at 7 p.m. — An Evening with Kevin Scott (music, poetry, storytelling). $5 (cash/door only).

∫ May 1 at 7 p.m. — Warren Sieme in concert. $10 (cash/door only).

∫ May 15 at 7 p.m. —Mike Gowans in concert. $5 (cash/door only).

∫ May 22 at 7 p.m. —Dominic Orlando and Nicole Campbell in concert. $5 (cash/door only).

∫ June 5 — Gloversville Art Walk (details to be announced).

∫ June 12 at 7 p.m. — Keanen Stark and Orion Kribs in concert. $10 (cash/door only).

∫ June 18 at 7 p.m. —Marty Wendell and His Tour Band. $10 (cash/door only).

∫ June 26 at 7 p.m. —Dorn Space “Summer of Funny” Special Event (TBA). $10 (cash/door only).

∫ July 3 at 7 p.m. — Dorn Space “Summer of Funny” Special Event (TBA). $10 (cash/door only).

Current safety guidelines are in effect

∫ Mask required to enter.

∫ Individuals are expected to remain six feet apart.

∫ Chairs spaced six feet apart (except for parties arriving together).

∫ Hand sanitizer station will be available at entrance.

∫ Admission will be limited to 25 people.

To ensure admission, guests may reserve tickets in advance (up to two days prior to a show) by emailing [email protected] and providing the following information: Name, number of seats requested, date of show and name of show. A confirmation email will be returned.
