The May 20 deadline to register your child for pre-kindergarten at Broadalbin-Perth for the 2021-22 school year is quickly approaching. Children who will be at least four years old on or before Dec. 1 who reside in the Broadalbin-Perth Central School District are eligible to attend the program. B-P offers a full-day pre-K program and can accommodate up to 90 children in the program. The district provides transportation and students receive free breakfast, snack and lunch for the 2021-22 school year. The district has five pre-kindergarten teachers whose classrooms are located in a newly reconstructed wing of B-P Elementary School in Perth. Pre-K slots will be filled through a lottery, in which district officials will randomly select 90 children whose families have turned in completed registration packets by the May 20 deadline. Pre-K slots are not first come, first served.
If you are interested in registering your child for pre-K at B-P, fill out a form to request a registration packet be mailed to you: https://bit.ly/3j5M6KS. The completed packet must be received by May 20 in order for your child to be included in the lottery, which will take place on June 1. A lot of your questions about Broadalbin-Perth’s pre-k program can likely be answered by visiting the pre-kindergarten page on the district website:
