Perth Seniors
The February 23 meeting of Perth seniors was called to order at 11 a.m. by President Elaine Gasner.
Attendance was recorded and there were 20 members in attendance.
The Pledge of Allegiance and Lord’s Prayer were led by Marshall Leggiero.
The minutes of the prior meeting were read by Pam Jasewicz, acting secretary, and were approved as read on a motion made by Sylvia Zierak and seconded by Mary Sampone. The treasurer report was presented by Diane Rozdolski and Bill Jasewicz and was also approved on a motion made by Wanda Crosby and seconded by Kathy Haff.
KITCHEN REPORT: There will be no charge for refreshments as it is a club sponsored Valentine’s Day party. Marshall has agreed to pick up the refreshments for March and Elaine will take care of coffee supplies.
Sylvia Zierak reported that we now have 22 paid members for 2022.
Fran Smith had nothing new to report on Sunshine Committee. Lynn Lasher treated the club to four different kinds of homemade fudge, which was enjoyed by all.
OLD BUSINESS: The date of the auction has been changed from March 23 to April 13, members were encouraged to start looking for household items and bring them in to the next meeting to be stored for the auction.
The St. Patrick’s Day celebration was discussed and will be held on March 23, this will be discussed further at today’s meeting.
NEW BUSINESS: The April anniversary banquet will be held on April 27.
Delores Leggiero and Mary Sampone agreed to chair a committee on this and will look for a location to hold the banquet.
The next meeting is scheduled for today at 10 a.m. The Town of Perth seniors are continuing to meet on the second and fourth Wednesday of the month at 10 a.m. All interested seniors in the area are encouraged to attend. The meetings are held in the senior center area of the Town of Perth Office Building located at 1849 County Highway 107 in Perth.
After the meeting, members enjoyed pizza and salads that were delivered from Fritz’s Pizza in Vail Mills.

Bannertown 50+ Club
On February 23, the Bannertown 50+ Club met starting out with their social hour.
Lorrie Valk then read the Devotion “Thank you for the excellent plan for my life.”
The Lord’s Prayer followed.
The OFA luncheon was then served.
President Carl Edwards opened the meeting with the Pledge of Allegiance.
Nancy Hayes, Vice-President gave the roll call.
Ann Mallin, Sunshine Chairman, reported that she had not sent out any cards.
Secretary Lorrie Valk gave her report and it was accepted.
Treasurer Joan Bezio gave her treasury report and that was also accepted.
Evie Leach reminded everyone that at the next meeting today, we will be doing a green auction. Something green wrapped in green. Janet Betler will be bringing cookies.
Lorrie asked for the members to start thinking about trips close to home so we can carpool to some of them.
It was decided to do a yard sale this year. The date will be determined at a later date.
Carl told everyone about the conference call that was done between the OFA and many of the other clubs and about ideas for the coming year.
The meeting was adjourned and drawings were done with Kathy Leggerio winning both the Door Prize and the 50/50. She donated both of the winnings back to the club.
Bingo was then played.

Glen Mohawk Senior Meeting
The regular meeting of the Glen Mohawk Seniors was called to order by President Joe Mancini on March 1 at 10:30 a.m. The Morning Prayer was given by Allen Taylor. The Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag was recited by all members.
Vice President Gloria Kimball took roll call with 30 members and 3 guests present. The group welcomed our newest member, Gloria Bruno.
The February 22 Secretary’s Report was read by Deb Whiting. A motion to accept the minutes as read was made by Peg LaBarge, seconded by Marjorie Savoie and passed by the membership.
A St. Patrick’s Day soup and sandwich luncheon will be held at the Winner’s Circle on March 15. Members were reminded to wear green; prizes will be awarded!
Members voted Judy Russo in as Trip Chairperson. Back Pack Program donations were collected at today’s meeting. “Natural Remedies for Colds” was read by Charlene Fonda.
Members were reminded about the Books and Puzzle Exchange happening at our March 29 meeting. Birthday cake was enjoyed by all to celebrate Vic’s birthday.
A motion to adjourn was made by Addie Forsey; seconded by Tim Wilmot. Closing Prayer was given by Allen Taylor. Meeting ended at 11:35 a.m.
