FORT PLAIN – Robin L. Small, 28, of Fort Plain was charged at 12:03 a.m. Jan. 12 by the village police with driving while intoxicated and operating a motor vehicle with a blood-alcohol content higher than 0.08 percent.
Police said Small was stopped for an equipment violation while she was reportedly on her way to pick up her children. Upon further investigation, officers asked her to perform a sobriety test, which she failed, police said. She submitted to a chemical test which resulted in a 0.14 percent blood-alcohol content.
Small was issued an appearance ticket for a later date in Minden Town Court and released.
