AMSTERDAM – State police said a teen was charged Friday after she sold alcohol to a minor.
Caitlyn A. Getman, 17, of Gloversville was charged at 7:30 p.m. Friday at the Amsterdam Rite Aid by state police at Fonda with first-degree unlawfully dealing with a child and a violation of the alcohol beverage control law.
Police said troopers charged Getman after she agreed to sell alcohol to a minor.
Police said the arrest was part of an investigation of 12 convenience and liquor stores in Montgomery County, where an underaged volunteer was sent into each store.
Getman was issued an appearance ticket and released.
