AMSTERDAM – State police said three arrests were made after a theft at the Amsterdam Walmart on Saturday.
Derek Hayes, 31, and Emily Rodriguez, 18, both of Gloversville, were charged respectively with four and two counts of petit larceny. A store employee pointed them out to troopers while the pair were leaving the store in their vehicle after stealing various items, troopers said.
Troopers said they found Hayes and another passenger – Tina Hillman, 44, of Gloversville – also were wanted on active warrants out of Gloversville.
Rodriguez was processed and released on appearance tickets for Tuesday in Town Court.
Hayes was processed and was arraigned in Town Court. He was sent to the Montgomery County Jail and was ordered to reappear in Town Court on Thursday.
Hillman was turned over to the Gloversville Police Department. Hillman was sent to Fulton County Correctional Facility on $350 bail or $1,000 bond.
