BROADALBIN – The Broadalbin-Perth Central School District is seeking candidates for a vacant seat.
District voters will elect a board member on May 21 to begin serving a five-year term July 1. The vacancy is caused by the expiration of the term of Paul Chizek on June 30.
Petitions for nominating a member to the board are available in the district office, 20 Pine St., from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday. The names of at least 27 qualified voters are necessary to nominate a candidate.
The petitions must be returned to the district clerk on or before 5 p.m. April 22.
