Voters in Galway to pick BOE members

GALWAY – Voters will pick people on May 21 to fill three seats on the Board of Education for the Galway Central School District.

Two seats are for four-year terms of office and one seat is for a three-year term of office.

All seats are “at large,” a news release said, which means each nominee for a seat on the board is eligible for every vacancy.

The two candidates with the most votes will serve the four-year terms of office. The candidate with the third-highest number of votes will serve the three-year term of office.

Petitions to run for the board are available by contacting District Clerk Linda Casatelli at 882-1033 or [email protected].

The deadline for submitting completed petitions is 5 p.m. April 22.
