JOHNSTOWN – A local drug dealer was sentenced Tuesday in Fulton County Court to three years in state prison.
Gary A. Robinson, 31, of Miller Street, was sentenced by Judge Polly A. Hoye as a second-felony offender. He also received two years of post-release supervision. He was sentenced as part of a plea agreement.
Robinson pleaded guilty March 13 before Hoye to one felony count of third-degree criminal sale of a controlled substance.
He was charged by Gloversville police Jan. 28. A three-count county grand jury indictment against Robinson opened Aug. 22 stated Robinson sold cocaine to a confidential informant in Gloversville.
In other court action Tuesday before Hoye, Armand LaForest, 29, of Pleasant Street, Schenectady, was sentenced to six months in the county jail as part of a plea agreement. He also was fined $2,500.
He pleaded guilty Feb. 11 to first-degree aggravated unlicensed operation.
LaForest was charged Aug. 26 in the town of Mayfield.
